Marbella in November 2026: Weather, Events and Practical Plans

Guide to Marbella · 22 October 2026

In this guide

Marbella in November 2026 suits a walking-and-culture break rather than a guaranteed beach holiday. Stay near the centre for the Old Town and promenade, pack a waterproof layer, and build an evening around a confirmed show. The November calendar below was checked against venue and municipal sources on 22 October 2026; dates do not guarantee remaining tickets.

The November calendar below was checked against venue and municipal sources on 22 October 2026; dates do not guarantee remaining tickets.

November weather and what to pack

AEMET's Málaga Airport station recorded historical 1981–2010 November averages of 20.1°C for daily highs, 11.3°C for daily lows and 100 mm of monthly rainfall. These are regional climate normals, not a Marbella observation or a November 2026 forecast. Rain can fall in spells; a sunny afternoon does not guarantee a warm evening or comfortable sea swimming.

Bring walking shoes with grip, trousers, short-sleeved layers, a jumper and a light waterproof jacket. A compact umbrella helps in town, but a hood is more practical in coastal wind. Check the Marbella forecast shortly before travel. Keep exposed beach walks flexible if heavy rain, wind or official warnings are forecast.

Confirmed November events

Palacio events take place at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos, Calle José Meliá 2, Marbella. Times below are local. Use the official source to reconfirm before buying; no current ticket prices have been verified.

Daily schedule and public access will be confirmed by the organiser. Gallery Weekend's organiser website was readable at this check and announces 12–14 November; use its programme rather than assuming every gallery opens all day.

Exhibitions and a reliable rain alternative

Salvador Dalí: Diez recetas de inmortalidad is announced through 15 November at Museo del Grabado, Calle Hospital Bazán s/n. Posted visiting hours are Monday and Saturday 11:00–14:00, Tuesday–Friday 11:00–18:00, with €5 advertised admission. The end date falls on a Sunday: do not assume Sunday access. Plan within posted opening days and reconfirm holiday exceptions.

Jorge Hernández's El instante suspendido runs through 30 November at Es Arte Gallery, Hotel El Fuerte. Confirm visiting hours with the gallery.

Museo Ralli offers free entry, Tuesday–Friday 10:00–17:00 and Saturday 10:00–15:00. It closes Sunday and Monday. Its annual closure is 22 December–31 January, so November is a different proposition from a Christmas or January visit. Find it at Urbanización Coral Beach, N-340 km 176; Hotel Coral Beach is the published bus stop and 952 857 923 the contact number. A tourism exhibition end date never overrides venue access hours.

A flexible three-day November itinerary

  • Day one: Old Town streets and Plaza de los Naranjos, then a promenade walk if conditions permit. Reserve an indoor dinner rather than depending on an uncovered terrace.
  • Day two: visit an exhibition during its actual opening hours. Add a November show only if your dates and tickets align; otherwise make this a relaxed food-and-culture day.
  • Day three: explore Puerto Banús or San Pedro, returning before an evening weather change. Substitute a café, shopping or a booked gallery visit for a long coastal walk in poor weather.

Transport, holidays and what is open

Monday 2 November 2026 is Andalucía's substitute All Saints public holiday. It is not an entertainment event and does not mean every restaurant closes. Check the official local bus timetable, holiday service, return transport after a show and each venue's opening days. Choose accommodation by the places you want to reach on foot; a car is useful for dispersed plans, not compulsory for a centre-based break.

A posted menu or annual timetable does not prove every beach business operates throughout November. Ask whether the kitchen, indoor seating and the specific rice dish you want are available. Our paella shortlist gives official contacts rather than assumed seasonal opening.

Questions people ask

Is Marbella warm in November? Often mild by day, but historic airport averages are not a forecast. Pack for cool evenings, rain and wind.

Can I plan a museum visit on Sunday? Not from the exhibition end date alone. The Dalí listing and Ralli have specific opening days; Ralli closes Sundays.

Is November a good month without a car? A centre-based stay can work for town walks and meals. Check bus and taxi arrangements for outlying galleries and evening performances.

For the wider seasonal choice, read Marbella in winter, December and January. Monthly calendars are separate because opening conditions change.
